Agra Inner Ring Road
The Inner Ring Road, which will be completed in three phases, will connect the Agra-Noida Yamuna Expressway with the Gwalior highway. It will be around 23km in length once ready. The objective behind constructing it is to streamline traffic movement towards the Taj Mahal. The ring road will haves six lanes expandable up to eight lanes. The First phase of Inner Ring road is being completed and inaugrated by hon'ble cheif minister Mr.Akhilesh Yadav.
The first phase is completed of 10.8Km , the direct connectivity from Yammuna Express way to Fatehabad Road which makes it convineient for tourist visiting Taj Mahal. After the inauguration of the 10.9km-long first phase of inner ring road, the Agra development authority has now begun work on the second phase of chief minister's Akhilesh Yadav's ambitious project. However, land acquisition for the project is proving to be a major roadblock for the authorities.
